NAGA is now MiCA-authorised for crypto-asset services across the EU

This is a milestone we are proud of. NAGA has received authorisation under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, known as MiCA, which allows us to offer regulated crypto-asset services to clients across the EU. It confirms where NAGA stands: a regulated, multi-asset platform that takes crypto, and the people who trade it, seriously.

What MiCA is

MiCA is the European Union’s regulatory framework for crypto-assets. Before it came into force, crypto services in Europe were governed by a patchwork of national rules that differed from one country to the next. MiCA replaces that with a single set of standards that apply across every EU member state, covering how crypto-asset service providers operate, how client holdings are held and safeguarded, and how firms are supervised on an ongoing basis.

The aim is consistency and protection. A client in one EU country and a client in another are now covered by the same rules, and the firms serving them are held to the same requirements. Meeting that standard reflects how we have built NAGA from the start.

What the authorisation covers for NAGA clients

With MiCA authorisation, NAGA’s crypto-asset services operate within a regulated environment. For clients in the EU, that includes the ability to buy, sell and exchange crypto-assets, and to have their holdings safeguarded under defined standards. These services are part of the NAGA platform rather than a separate offering.

Where crypto fits within NAGA

NAGA is a multi-asset platform built around a single account. Within it you can invest in stocks and ETFs, trade across a range of markets, follow and copy other traders through social trading, and manage everyday spending with the NAGA card. Crypto is part of that same platform.

A community of more than 2.5 million across multiple countries already trade and invest with NAGA, and we have spent years building a platform that brings the different parts of people’s financial lives into one place. The MiCA authorisation strengthens the crypto part of that offering for European clients and reinforces the regulated foundation the whole platform is built on. We think that combination, real breadth backed by real regulation, is what sets NAGA apart.

Why the regulated part matters

As Europe completes its transition to the MiCA framework through 2026, only providers that hold authorisation are able to continue offering crypto-asset services to clients in the EU. NAGA is among them, and we are glad to be.

The value of that is practical. Your crypto activity takes place on a platform that meets defined European standards, is subject to ongoing supervision, and is accountable for how it operates and how it holds client assets. Crypto-asset services have been part of NAGA’s offering for years, and this authorisation places that part of the platform on a clear regulatory footing for the European market. We treat regulation as a core part of how we operate, not an afterthought.

What happens next

This is a step, not a finish line. We will keep developing NAGA’s crypto-asset services for clients across Europe within the MiCA framework, and there is more to come across the wider platform. Log in to explore everything NAGA brings together.
